Watch that rough 2JZ powered lawn tractor finally run and drive

We have introduced the construction process behind the 2JZ power lawn mower before. It is very strange and you can't help but fall in love with it. However, now, this beautiful machine can finally run.

Well, it's a bit like running and driving. The motor works well and this thing can definitely drift in a hurry, but it still has a regular tractor seat, non-pressurized brakes, and basically no suspension. So it works, it's just not very good-but it still looks interesting.

For those inexperienced, this project started more than a year ago and is the brainchild of the YouTube channel Grind Hard Plumbing Co. The channel is famous for this weird architecture. In fact, it was these people who made a Barbie jeep before traveling at 85 miles per hour.

The construction of the 2JZ lawn mower is a bit...civilized. It was designed as an off-road vehicle, needless to say, which means that the original tractors are running out. It has independent front and rear suspension, 30-inch big tires, and it can be safely assumed that it won't cut the grass anytime soon.

Before someone accuses Grind Hard Plumbing Co. of building a complete death trap, the eagle eyes among you have discovered that this is a naturally aspirated 2JZ, not a turbocharged GTE. This means that it only produces 227 horsepower, a huge amount of power that even a slightly modified 2JZ can send to the tires.

Of course, this is not to say that this is a slow tractor. Nothing more. Even if it only cracks around the yard and then truly makes it unsafe to drive for more than a few minutes, you can see that its pace has some serious encouragement. 227 horsepower is a lot for previous lawn tractors. If you want to know how far it is from the original form, check out the video posted at the beginning of the build below.

It's nice to see it finally up and running, but as people say, it does need some upgrades to drive longer. In most cases, upgrades to prevent the driver from being ejected when turning. For anyone who is curious, if you... uh... want to make your own 2JZ powered lawn mower, there is also a build thread on the Grind Hard Plumbing Co website.

Hey, this is definitely not for everyone, but these guys seem to have a lot of fun!
