Caterpillar introduced two new hydraulic excavators, namely Cat 336 and 340.
Both provide first-class production and low-cost operations, while their powerful hydraulic system provides powerful digging force and swing torque to increase production in the most demanding applications.

With its sturdy structure, the 336 and 340 excavators will provide reliable operation in a variety of applications. The service of 4 million hours of Cat C7.1 engine proves its long-term reliability. Three engine modes match the power of the excavator to the job requirements and save fuel at the same time. The power mode provides maximum power to meet the most demanding tasks; the smart mode automatically matches the engine and hydraulic power with the mining conditions to reduce fuel consumption. Reduce the engine speed to a constant 1500 rpm, Eco mode can minimize fuel consumption.
Synchronized 1,000-hour oil and fuel filter maintenance intervals reduce downtime. Compared with many competitive 30-40 ton excavators, the extended interval also eliminates the labor cost of 9 oil and fuel filter replacements and 27 parts for oil and fuel filter over 10,000 machine operating hours cost.
The high ambient temperature capability of 52˚ C (125˚ F), the cold start capability of -18˚ C (0˚ F), and the ability to work at altitudes up to 4500m (14,764 ft) enable the machine to work in various climates Work down. Automatic hydraulic preheating at low temperatures can make the machine work faster and extend the service life of machine parts. The intake filter with pre-filter has a high dust holding capacity, and the high-efficiency hydraulic fan provides an optional automatic reverse function to keep the core free of debris.
Product Link collects data automatically. View information such as location, time, fuel usage, idle time, maintenance alerts, diagnostic codes, and machine health status online via Web and mobile apps. To maximize machine uptime, remote troubleshooting and remote flash memory allow dealers to connect to the machine remotely to diagnose fault codes and update operating software.
From Deluxe to Premium, we provide next-generation cab decoration levels. The luxurious cab is equipped with heated air suspension seats; the premium cab is equipped with heated and ventilated air suspension seats. Both have an upward-sloping left console for easy access to the machine.
The touch screen display and jog dial provide quick navigation of machine control and provide easy access to the machine's digital operating manual. Keyless button start is standard, and Bluetooth® remote control key is provided. The operator ID password allows to start the engine, and the operator ID can quickly save and restore the joystick buttons, response and mode preferences of each operator.
The optional Cat Stick Steer makes traveling and turning easier. A series of standard technologies-Cat Payload on-board weighing, slope assistance to maintain slope, and 2D slope with depth and slope indication-improve operator efficiency and machine productivity. All Cat Grade systems are compatible with radios and base stations from top third-party technology providers. The operator can store up to four depth and slope offsets to quickly cut to the slope without a slope checker. Auto Hammer Stop warns the operator after 15 seconds of continuous firing, and then turns off the hammer after 30 seconds to prevent wear. Auto Dig Boost and Auto Heavy Lift increase bucket penetration and lifting capacity by 8%, while Lift Assist helps operators avoid machine tipping.
