Today, BOLZONI offers the option to further improve the accuracy of material handling, matching the existing fork positioner with the front camera and laser system.

With the help of the laser beam and the front camera, the operator can clearly see the fork tip and can easily pick up the pallet to prevent accidental collisions with possible obstacles.

Laser allows forklift drivers to perform more precise operations

The laser mounted on the frame projects a horizontal linear beam at a 90-degree angle to the prong tip. The pointing device enables the driver to obtain a correct reference to accurately place the fork in the pallet bag, and to identify obstacles to the fork during operation.

The front camera is located on the top of the central bracket, and the configuration allows the installation of a camera and laser.

Thanks to the camera position, under most operating conditions, the driver can clearly see the two prongs, a horizontal 120° viewing angle and a vertical 52° viewing angle, while maintaining the correct ergonomic position on the seat.

This rugged camera is waterproof (IP69K) and highly resistant to vibration, up to 10 G and 100 G shock resistance.

In addition, this light-colored camera is equipped with 6 infrared LEDs, which can provide perfect vision even in low-light environments.

In the Easy-FORK vision system solution, the front camera is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications of side shifting and fork positioning.

High-resolution images are displayed on a 7-inch monitor installed in the cab. The connection between the camera and the display can be wireless, or through a reinforced cable and cable reel.

The system also provides a "depth" indication: the driver can perceive the distance between the fork and the pallet by looking at the screen.

The device is particularly useful in low-light situations because the system integrates a fixed reference on the screen, aligned with the prong tip, and provides a landmark during the pick-up phase.

These vision systems perform well, even in extremely cold and extremely hot temperatures.

In fact, lasers can be used in working environments with a temperature range from -10 degrees to +60 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit), and cameras can be used in environments up to -20 degrees Celsius.

In addition, in the case of sudden temperature changes, the electric anti-fog system will automatically start to provide the driver with a clear image.

Thanks to the dual information flow provided by the front camera and laser, the operator's perspective is unobstructed in the work area. At the same time, the laser allows the forks to be placed in a fast and efficient manner.
