Since we received it, Fego Float has not seen much movement, but recently, KTM 390 Duke has been my weapon of choice. You see, my commute has now become a lot of highway riding. I use Fego Float to buffer for an hour every day. This is what I found during my commute:

On a street car like Duke, there will be a strange feeling at first-after installing Float, you are really sitting very high. As the spare seat tilts forward, you will often be pushed in that direction...but the floating seat will not. The leather saddle can hold your hips and hold you in place. On Duke, the suspension is very stiff, so rough roads can be painful where you know it, but Float can eliminate all bumps and is particularly effective for sharp ridges and small deep potholes. We think extra The height will make it a better riding position for certain cruiser motorcycle riders, but we are not sure how it sits for short riders.

However, there is a disadvantage. Float for motorcycles does not come with an air pump, so its air pressure (translation: support) is only the pressure that your lungs and lips can withstand. If it is too low, even in the half-hour commute, it will spread the pressure from the sit bones to places where the weight is very uncomfortable. Another troublesome thing has to do with the Duke: Unlike many bicycles, the Duke’s rider seat is bolted in place. If the elastic band that holds the seat in place slides and gets under the seat, you need to unscrew and redo the two nuts (see the installation article), which is a good 10-minute job.
