A new series of Hyster® UT series is being launched in Oceania and Asia-Pacific, aiming to provide forklift operators with higher driver comfort and lower total cost of ownership.

The new H4.0-5.0UT internal combustion balanced pneumatic tire forklift has a lifting capacity of 4000-5000 kg, which complements the wider Hyster UT series forklifts and provides cost-effective performance for daily material handling tasks.

"The H4.0-5.0UT series has the sturdiness and spareness that Hyster is renowned worldwide, but it does not have any advanced functions that are not required by the less commonly used forklifts, which means that the total cost of ownership is kept at a low level," The Hyster Regional Business Department said Pacific Director Mark Chafee.

"Sometimes industries that require less forklift usage—such as food and beverages, frozen products, manufacturing, distribution, and trucking and transportation—do not require advanced features for 24/7 operation, but they do need high-quality forklift sales with outstanding performance. And service backup, which is exactly what Hyster can provide through its distribution network," Chaffey said.

"The Hyster H4.0-5.0UT series provides an ideal solution for less frequent material handling needs without compromising performance," he said.

The new H4.0-5.0UT forklift-4000 kg, 4500 kg or 5000 kg models-has many features that can further improve driver comfort, visibility and ease of operation, including:

The value proposition of the new machine-"Meet the demand. Makes the Move"-is suitable for customers who do not need specific advanced features, but prefer a proven material handling solution supported by a supplier they can trust. The solution can provide support from a reputable service network throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan.

The use of high-quality, robust components, efficient filtration and excellent cooling help achieve reliable operation and reduce wear. This, along with the rapid availability of cost-effective replacement parts, reduces service maintenance requirements and costs.

“Due to the simplicity of components and specifications, repairs can be performed quickly and cost-effectively. The combination of a large inspection area and simple, replaceable components further optimizes maintenance and minimizes the total cost of ownership,” Chaffey said.
