After releasing the exterior image of the new G90 in late November, Genesis went back to the rest of the puzzle by showing off the luxurious cabin while talking about the technical specifications. We will get to the point and jump into the long-wheelbase derivative model, whose spacious rear cabin is very suitable for VIP passengers. Even if you are tall, there is enough space in the trunk for you to stretch your legs and let the driver do all the work.

As you would expect from a stretched limousine, quilted leather is almost everywhere you see it. Elsewhere, real metal and wood are combined with forged carbon surfaces, giving the G90 a peculiar atmosphere from the moment you step in. For the same effect, ambient LED lighting has been carefully integrated into the door card.

According to the seat mode, the 10.2-inch rear touch screen of the entertainment system will automatically adjust to obtain the best viewing angle. If you want more screens, you can place an 8-inch tablet in the UV-sterilized armrest box to separate the rear seats to control everything from lighting and climate settings to massage seats and curtain positions. The interior is coated with antibacterial silver-zinc zeolite material to reduce the possibility of bacteria and microorganisms growing on the artificial leather.

In addition to the air purifier, the improved G90 is the first Genesis model with a built-in fragrance to reflect its German rival. If you are curious, it emits three smells, their names are quite interesting: the driver's awakening, outdoor activities and my favorite place.

In addition, the four-mode Mood Curator also debuted on a modern high-end brand, changing various settings: sound system (23 speakers Bang & Olufsen), mood lights, massage seats, perfume and electric curtains-everything is for the purpose of "enhancing passengers mood".

Called "ergonomic relaxation" seats, these seats have 10 airbags on the backrests and two more airbags on the cushions, providing four types of body massage and the ability to adjust the duration and intensity. Interestingly, the side cushions are automatically inflated at speeds of over 81 mph (130 km/h) or when you are in sports mode to obtain greater lateral support. Whenever you enter or leave the cabin, they will do the exact opposite.

The smaller cars are equally beautiful:

In order to get a silky smooth riding experience, the new G90 has a predictable air suspension and lifts the front wheels by 10 mm (0.4 inches), while making other adjustments at 100 meters (328 feet), and then not Drive on a flat surface to eliminate as many road defects as possible. When you descend a steep slope, the front wheels will also rise to prevent damage to the underbody. On rough roads, it will automatically lift the vehicle 25 mm (nearly an inch) on both axles.

With rear-wheel steering, wireless update support, digital keys (using smartphones to open doors and trunks), and fingerprint authentication systems, Genesis' top-of-the-line cars are full of technology. It also has a head-up display, noise reduction, remote parking, and manual detection (HOD) system. The latter determines whether the driver holds the steering wheel when the semi-autonomous driving system is activated.

The following are the technical specifications of the 2023 Genesis G90:

As previously reported, the naturally aspirated V8 has disappeared. However, the silver lining is that the 2023 Genesis G90 will use an evolution of the familiar twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, equipped with an electric supercharger. Known as eS/C, it uses pressurized compressed air to provide a faster maximum torque than an ordinary engine, thereby achieving better off-line acceleration and medium-speed acceleration.

It is only suitable for long-wheelbase models, which have only AWD style. Genesis has not released the output data of the powertrain, which indirectly indicates that it will provide additional power compared to the standard V6.

Initially on sale in South Korea next year, the overhauled G90 will gradually be introduced into other markets, including the United States, and it should be available in the 2023 model year.
