Comes with a 5.9-liter Cummins engine and Eaton six-speed transmission.

When it comes to finding rare classic cars and vehicles, then eBay seems to be the place to be right now. The online auction site is listing quite a few incredible cars and vehicles, such as this cool 1949 GMC Truck. More than just a truck, this already rare GMC Semi Truck comes complete with a 1951 four-car double-decker hauler and is currently listed as a buy it now item for $11,500.

The seller of the truck on eBay has described it as being a very solid truck and something that very rarely comes up for sale. They also state that there appears to be some rust on the side panels. Overall, this truck and trailer has survived quite well, but a close look at it does reveal some deficiencies. The rust is definitely noticeable, but it's inside the truck where the condition deteriorates, with the truck's interior certainly needing some work. The seats are filthy, and the leather appears to be coming off the main structure, and the dashboard itself is also in need of some restoration work.

Despite that, though, the truck overall looks reasonable, and it's got a big engine under the hood. Powering this 1949 GMC machine is a 12V 5.9-liter Cummins engine with an Eaton six-speed manual transmission.

In terms of the mileage that this car has accumulated over the years, the motor has 125k miles on the clock according to the seller. But they have no idea how many miles the transmission in the truck has done, but that it does feel good when driving around. It's still capable of pulling the trailer too with cars on, the seller saying they have pulled the trailer with a 1964 Cadillac Limo and a 1963 Cadillac four-door on the upper deck.

The trailer is of course a major incentive for buying this truck. The seller says that the trailer is structurally solid, despite a bit of side-panel rot showing up. The trailer was originally used to move new Kaisers Frazier from the manufacturer to their dealer in Illinois, according to the seller, and it still has its slogan on its side. Getting back to the truck, it does need some work. The motor mounts on it have given up and the motor has fallen forward, and as it did so it broke the center support bearing on the driveshaft, and then spat it out. So, a fair bit of work looks to be in order, but this is a chance to own quite a unique combination.

The Hummer EV looks impressive, but there are few things to watch out for.
